About Miguel Alexandro Pereda
I am a Charleston based Filmmaker & Photographer. Working in videography for the past seven, I have worked at events directing people for “candid” posed photos, have shot portrait photography for Jostens, and have done freelance photo sessions. My freelance sessions have included Touring Car Inc., where I set lights, took photos, and edited photos of Porsche and BMW model cars for an automotive restoration company, and wedding photography and videography freelancing for 6 years. Before recently moving to Charleston, I was in product photography for Unique USA inc., Unique Loom, e-salerugs.com and Rugs.com. In this position, I would stage the photo sets and set up studio lighting for each rug, then photograph and edit the photos and send them to our marketing team. This included the use and maintenance of modern and traditional equipment, cameras, lenses, lights, and props. With an understanding in cinematography, sound design, lighting, editing, VFX, SFX, I specialize in Wedding videography, Portrait photography and Product photography.
